Our Approach
MindWell Neuropsychology was founded to support families navigating complex developmental, learning, and emotional challenges. Led by Dr. Karolina Nicewicz, we provide expert neuropsychological evaluations in a warm, collaborative environment where children, teens, and young adults feel understood and supported.
We specialize in pediatric neuropsychological evaluations, focusing on ADHD, learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, various neurodevelopmental disorders, and mood disorders. Our goal is to create a nurturing and supportive space where each child can thrive.
Our evaluations are individualized and comprehensive, designed to identify strengths, clarify challenges, and guide meaningful next steps. We emphasize family involvement throughout the process, ensuring that parents feel informed, empowered, and supported.
We also provide access to resources and tools that help children, teens, young adults, and their families succeed at home, in school, and beyond - through clarity, compassion, and evidence‑based care.

Meet Dr. Karolina Nicewicz
Dr. Karolina Nicewicz PsyD
Founder & Pediatric Neuropsychologist at MindWell Neuropsychology
Dr. Nicewicz is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and New York who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is committed to creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel supported and understood.
She earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from St. John’s University and her Master of Education (EdM) from Teachers College, Columbia University, with formal training in school psychology. Her clinical work is grounded in a deep understanding of learning, development, and emotional functioning across childhood and adolescence.
After completing her PsyD, Dr. Nicewicz completed a two‑year AABN‑accredited post‑doctoral residency in Neuropsychology at a private practice. For the past several years, she has also provided pediatric neuropsychological services within a multidisciplinary medical practice in New York City.
Her training includes NYU Child Study Center, Kessler Rehabilitation, and both private and public school settings. Dr. Nicewicz is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, individualized evaluations that translate complex findings into clear, practical recommendations that support children and families at home, in school, and beyond.
