Insurance Coverage
MindWell Neuropsychology is an out-of-network private practice serving families in New Jersey and New York. We do not participate directly with insurance plans. This allows us to provide comprehensive, individualized evaluations without limitations imposed by insurance companies on testing time, procedures, or clinical judgement.
Many families in NJ and NY choose to use out-of-network benefits to help offset the cost of services.

Superbills & Out-of-Network Reimbursement
At the completion of services, we are happy to provide a detailed superbill that families may submit to their insurance companies for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary by their insurance plan and are not determined by MindWell Neuropsychology.

Fees
Fees for neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations vary depending on the referral concerns and the scope of assessment required. Each evaluation is tailored to the needs of the clients; fees are discussed in detail during the initial consultation.
During this consultation, we review concerns, explain the evaluation process, and provide a clear fee estimate before moving forward.

Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. We provide this estimate before your evaluation so you can make informed decisions about your care.

Payment Plans
We understand that neuropsychological evaluations are a significant investment in your child’s future. To support families, MindWell Neuropsychology offers flexible payment options for multi-session evaluations. These arrangements are designed to reduce financial stress while ensuring timely access to care.
